IMPROV CONTEST

At Dance Nation we love to showcase the talent that takes our stage, and our improv contest does just that!

After each age division competes solos, duets, and trios, dancers have the option to enter our improv contest for only $5.  All dancers participating, as well as our panel of judges, will join each other on stage.  Music from a random genre will be played as all participants will improv together for at least 45 seconds!  Depending on the number of participants, each judge will choose 1-2 dancers to move on to an additional round of improv.  Subsequent rounds will follow until judges determine a champion.  Each improv champion will be awarded a banner as well as a $50 cash prize!

SKILL LEVELS

  • NOVICE: Recreational, introductory level.  New to competitions. Working on basic movement. (Please follow beginner guidelines to avoid penalties)
